I was Tagged

Here's a gooey, romantic game of tag. Here's how it works: I will answer questions about Drew. At the end of the post, I'll tag 3 people and post their names. Then, those three people can do the same thing on their own blog and so on and so forth.

*What is your husband's name? Andrew (Drew for short or Andy depending on who you are)

*How long have you guys been married? Not officially married for another 2 months Feb 21, 2009 baby
*How long did you date? About 5 1/2 years with a few breakups in between

*How old is he? 27 (almost 28 ha ha sucker your way older then me)

*Who is taller? him

*Who can sing the best? Me...most definitely me

*Who is smarter? Probably Drew but not for long. Once I am done with school I will be way smarter. He will always be smarter about money :)

*Who pays the bills? Well I used to pay my own bills but now he does

*Who does the laundry? I will once we live together

*Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do...its the best side

*Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn....but if we did I am sure he wouldn't let me touch it

*Who cooks dinner? We both do, but I probably cook more

*Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? I am never wrong! Remember the costco post? There is proof right there!

*Who kissed who first? I don't really remember but I am sure it was me. I had a crazy crush on Drew so I am sure I planted my wet lips on him first

*Who wears the pants? For sure it's me!!!

This was fun and I hope you all learned a little more about me! I tag Jenny, Loni, and Bugs!

Adventures at Costco

Today was the day to go to Costco for work. This is my list...
6 cases Diet Pepsi
4 cases Pepsi
4 cases Mountain Dew
4 cases Sprite
2 cases Diet Dr. Pepper
2 Heatdishes
1 case of paper (I swear it weighs 100 pounds)
2 Ink for printer
Plates, Forks, Cups
Band aids
Coffee
Coffee creamer
Pain Medication
6 bags of candy
oh and can't forget the hot dog
All of this stuff is then loaded onto a flat bed cart which I then get to take to the truck and load it all up. Usually I do all this by myself but today was a special day. Drew happened to have the day off and decided to come to costco while I was enjoying my hot dog. After taking a look at my cart he decided he would help me take my purchases to the truck (what a gentleman). Here is our conversation
  • Drew: This cart is heavy but I bet if you got on I could push you too.
  • Brooke: Yea I bet you could but it's not happening
  • Drew: Fine (he then proceeds to jump on the cart and ride it down the hill. The cart then starts to veer to the left and make a spin move)
  • Drew: WOW!!! That was really fun!!!!!!!!
  • Brooke: Please don't do that again, the stuff is going to fall off the cart.
  • Drew: Duh no it won't it's just fine as he jumps on the cart once again and the cart starts to veer to the left and as it's doing it's spin move BAM all the stuff goes flying off the cart. Soda cases break open and soda is all over the road. I am telling you I have never seen anything like this in my life and I wish I would have had my camera with me. There were cars trying to get by but couldn't because of all the stuff in the road! Drew and I were laughing really hard but I was kinda mad and really embarrassed! People in the cars had to get out and help us clean it all up so they could get by. Oh man it was a sight to see.
  • Brooke: See I told you the stuff would fly off the cart you dumb ass! (please excuse my language but it was fitting at the time)
  • Drew: Yep but it sure was awsome!

And as he says the last part a woman walking by says "yes it sure was awsome" and her husband adds "you won't ever live that down"

So I guess Thanks are in order to Drew for making my friday and everyone else at costco who was involved in the incident very funny and making a good story to blog about! I couldn't possibly Love anyone else the way I Love YOU bro!

Birthday Girl

This is my very very very good friend Jamie! I call her my long distance BFF! Today is her birthday so I thought I would write a little bit about why Jamie and I are friends. I met her 7 years ago in 2001 when I moved to New Jersey to be a nanny. She was friends with the nanny the Bernhauts had before me and they introduced us at the Black Tie Party. I was very intimidated by her at first because she was older then me, knew the Bernhauts better then me, and she is so beautiful! She thought I was young, tall (weird I know), and it was hard for her seeing me take over Heathers job. I really wanted to hang out with her but it took awhile for us to get together. I think I actually bought her friendship because the first time we hung out was around her birthday and I bought her a gift. After that we were pretty much together all the time pizza, movies, going to live bands at bars, Cancun, concerts, the beach, NYC, and sleepovers every weekend! We always had so much fun and i will never find another friend like her. I want her to know how much she helped me adjust to moving to a new place where I didn't know a single person. She truly is a best friend to me and even though distance keeps us apart I think of her often and thank God she was working at the black tie party 7 years ago. I am so glad for so many reasons that we have been able to keep in touch after all these years. So Happy Birthday Jamie I hope its a wonderful day and that the next year brings you everything you could possibly dream for!
Love you

Viva Las Vegas

Here are a few things that went on during my trip to Vegas with the girls.

  • Friday night: didn't do a damn thing! Our group consisted of myself, Matise and Raven. The three of us had worked all day and were so tired we just got to the room and fell asleep.
  • Saturday: Since going to bed at a reasonable time we were able to get up early and go shopping. Some of you may know that I am on a strict budget due to only working part time, it was super hard for me to not spend hundreds of dollars at the fashion show mall. My group however did a job well done in the spending department. We even got to go to Manolo Blahnik were Raven bought her very first pair and boy are they cute!!!!

Here are all of the shoes we tried on at the store there is about 12,000 dollars worth of shoes right here in this photo.

Here are our favorite picks from the store.
Raven (bought these cute shoes w/flowers), Matise, and then me (yes I was 7 feet tall)

After our shopping trip we went to Chippendales it was fantastic! They were all hot hot hot and danced around half naked I was laughing so hard and screaming so loud that by the time it was over I had no voice. This is my new boyfriend! (sorry drew) I wish you guys could see his body because it is smokin!

Once the excitment was over we headed over to LAX NIGHTCLUB for some dancing. We were totally VIP and got a table and everything it was really fun. I was really hoping John Mayer would be there but he was not :( maybe next time.

Here we are the VIP table Yahoo for us!

My Going to be Famous Father...

One of my dad's favorite shows is called Top Gear it is very popular and I have seen it a few times. One of the episodes I saw they made a rocket out of a 3 wheeled car and launched it in the air. I very much enjoyed this and watching with my dad was even better! What's the point of this story you ask? Well my dad loves cars and is the handsome man in the photo below. Every September you will see him on the starting line at the Salt Flats making sure every racer is safe and having a good time. This year the show Top Gear went to the salt to shoot for the T.V show and my dad is totally going to be on it!!!! They interviewed him for about an hour, I am so excited to see my dear dad on T.V. Maybe they will ask him to be a regular on the show...wouldn't that be something! I posted some information about the show below. I will post again with more information on when it will air...I hope you all check it out!

Top Gear is a BAFTA, multi-NTA and International Emmy Award-winning BBC television series about motor vehicles, mainly cars. It began in 1977 as a conventional motoring magazine show. Over time, and especially since a relaunch in 2002, it has developed a quirky, humorous style. The show is presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig, an anonymous test driver. The programme is estimated to have 385 million viewers worldwide. In 2007 it was one of the most pirated television shows in the world.[2]
The show has received considerable acclaim for its visuals and presentation, as well as a number of criticisms for its content and comments made by presenters. Columnist A. A. Gill described the show as, "a triumph of the craft of programme-making, of the minute, obsessive, musical masonry of editing, the french polishing of colourwashing and grading."[3]

I have the cutest dad in the world. I love him the whole University and NOBODY can beat that!
